How Do I Apply?

Students who are interested in Science, Geosciences, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology and Mathematics can apply.

File a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA available online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/

The student must exhibit the following application requirements:

• Demonstrate financial need.
   
• Declare a major in a field covered by the program.
   
• Pass all THEA/Accuplacer areas or be THEA/Accuplacer exempt.
   
• Enroll in at least 12 credit hours in eligible major each semester.
   
• Submit a completed admissions application to SWTJC (incoming freshmen must also submit a copy of their high school transcript reflecting an overall grade average of 85).   
   
• Be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.
