Chemistry lab Chemistry instructor Jesus Garcia directs students in a chemistry lab on July 14 on the Uvalde campus. The lab was on the separation of components of a mixture. Second summer session classes started July 11 at sites across the college's 11-county service area. Grand opening Hondo Mayor Jim Danner (above) welcomes guests to the grand opening of the South Texas Regional Training Center on Saturday, July 16. Seated behind Mayor Danner are (l-r) Medina County Judge Jim Barden and Francisco Canseco, U.S. congressman for the 23rd Congressional District.
