enrollment of 6,293 students this fall at SWTJC. Barker's comments came
during the Dean's Forum held in Eagle Pass on Sept. 28.
Canseco for Congress

Republican Congressional candidate Quico Canseco

State candidate

Parade prizes

The SWTJC float won prizes in both Uvalde
and Hondo in September. Showing off the third

Top parade entry

The
SWTJC entry in the parade (below) won best youth entry in the Uvalde
Labor Day Weekend Festival. The festival
raised $5,000 for the Los Palominos Scholarship Fund at SWTJC.
